Size does not matter! There is no such thing as a hand that is too big or too small to play a guitar. Neither are there fingers too long, short, fat or thin. That's great news, right?

Don't barre chords with the softest part of your finger! Instead, use the hard edge. It will make those tricky barre chords a whole lot easier, and you'll be able to play longer. Remember, bony not fleshy.

hen learning chords, scales, or solos, start slowly at first! Concentrate on the technique. Only get faster when the technique - your playing of the part - is good enough.
